Dr. Namrata Shrivallabh Kabra holds the qualifications MBBS, MS (Ophthalmology), FAICO (Cornea), FIOF (US) and FICO (I). She completed her MBBS in 2003 from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, ranking first in the state of Maharashtra in Ophthalmology, and her MS Ophthalmology in 2009, topping GMC Aurangabad and the entire Marathwada region.
She completed a cornea fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai in 2012, followed by an observership at Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) in 2013 and a prestigious Asia Cornea Society Santen Educational Grant observership at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (KPUM), Japan in 2023. She received her FAICO (Cornea) fellowship and FIOF (US) in 2025.
From December 2010 to April 2024, she served as Senior Consultant and Head, Department of Cornea & Refractive Services at Shri Ganapati Netralaya, Jalna — a 101-bed NABH-accredited charitable institute. She personally managed over 50,000 patients and performed 1,000+ surgeries annually. The eye bank under her leadership achieved the second highest corneal tissue collection in western India. She trained 12 long-term cornea fellows and guided 8 DNB postgraduate students.
She is a founder & medical director of Tejas Netralaya and a visiting consultant at Laxmi Eye Institute, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Shree Chembur Jain Medical Centre.
